We are looking for a motivated Aerospace Assembler & Tester to join our Manufacturing Operations team in Tewkesbury. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-precision aerospace environment, assembling, disassembling, testing, and supporting the manufacture of critical aerospace components including valves, manifolds, and actuators.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of assembly and testing activities while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and disassemble aerospace components and assemblies.
- Clean new and aftermarket parts and products in preparation for assembly.
- Perform flow-matching operations using AMP stands as required.
- Carry out wire-locking, labelling, and finishing activities.
- Follow approved engineering documentation, drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing procedures.
- Accurately complete production records, operation sheets, and travellers.
- Inspect your own work in accordance with quality standards and audit requirements.
- Use a variety of hand tools, gauges, and measuring equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Support engineering teams, colleagues, and customers where appropriate.
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing activities, including 5S and Kaizen initiatives.

What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
- Good standard of secondary education.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Positive attitude towards continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable attendance and excellent timekeeping.
- Flexible approach to work and shift patterns.
Desirable
- Previous assembly, manufacturing, aerospace, engineering, or production experience.
- Experience using hand tools, measuring equipment, and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, including 5S.
- Experience working within a regulated or quality-controlled environment.
Key Performance Expectations
- Work to established productivity and standard-time targets.
- Maintain compliance with all quality standards and procedures.
- Adhere to health and safety requirements at all times.
- Complete required training and quality audits.
- Demonstrate flexibility across Assembly & Test areas in line with business needs.
