Location: Ansty Park

Hours: Full Time, 37.5hpw, Early Shift

Duration: Permanent

Position Summary

The Role:

We are looking for an Assembly & Test Fitter to join our team, assembling heat exchanger units and carrying out testing to ensure products meet customer, quality and safety requirements. Working from engineering drawings, technical documentation and work instructions, you will build, inspect and test components within a precision engineering manufacturing environment.

The role involves using hand tools and measurement equipment, carrying out visual inspections and performing pressure, flow and leak testing to verify product performance. Following training, you will be expected to work independently while maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Assemble heat exchanger units to engineering drawings and specifications
  • Carry out pressure, flow and leak testing on completed units
  • Inspect components before, during and after assembly to identify non-conformances
  • Follow technical documentation, work instructions and standard operating procedures
  • Use tools and measurement equipment to verify product quality and conformity

Qualifications

Skills required:

  • Previous mechanical assembly experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Experience using hand tools and measurement equipment, including verniers
  • Experience working within a precision engineering or regulated manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn and ability to work independently once trained
