A leading high-tech manufacturing organisation in Belfast is seeking a number of Assembly & Test Technicians to join their growing production team. These positions offer immediate starts and the opportunity to work within a precision manufacturing environment, assembling and testing innovative products to the highest quality standards.

Your New Role

As an Assembly & Test Technician, you will be responsible for the precision assembly, inspection and testing of small, delicate components while working from detailed engineering drawings and work instructions. You will play a key role in ensuring products are manufactured accurately and meet strict quality requirements. Key duties will include:

  • Precision assembly of electro-mechanical components
  • Inspection and testing of finished products
  • Following detailed work instructions and procedures
  • Maintaining high levels of quality and accuracy
  • Recording production and test data as required
  • Identifying and reporting faults or defects
  • Supporting continuous improvement activities within the production team

What You'll Need to Succeed

To be considered for this opportunity, you should have:

  • GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or equivalent)
  • At least 2 years' experience within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Experience in electronics, electro-mechanical or precision engineering manufacturing is desirable
  • Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good IT skills
  • The ability to follow technical instructions and quality procedures accurately
