Introduction
MARL International Limited was founded in 1973 in Ulverston and specializes in producing large-scale custom lighting systems, as well as rugged LED components. We collaborate closely with the defence and rail industries, and also create specialty lighting for creative applications. In August 2024, Marl became part of the Glamox group.
What you'll do
This is an excellent job opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic experienced Assembly, Despatch & Incoming Goods Operator to join a well-established multidisciplinary Department. The successful candidate should be able to learn at a fast pace as well as apply previous knowledge to the role.

- Assembly & Testing: Build and test orders efficiently using correct instructions and quality standards.
- Despatch & Goods: Handle incoming goods, receipting, packaging, and arranging carriers for despatch.
- Testing: Perform high voltage testing and bagging safely
- Stock & Kitting: Kit distribution orders, control packaging stock, and assist with annual stock-take
- Additional duties as required by the Company to ensure the smooth running of the business needs
Who you are
- Have electrical or electronics background advantageous.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings advantageous.
- 5 GCSE's at grade C or above including English & Math's.
- Comfortable communicating with colleagues to demonstrate, maintain and actively promote the company, policies and strategy.
