Location: Coventry
Salary: £18.27 per hour (£39,000 per annum once permanent)
Contract Type: 12-Week Temp to Perm
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm
Empowered Personnel are recruiting for an experienced Assembly Operative to join a busy manufacturing company based in Coventry. This is a physically demanding and varied role, offering the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
Working as part of a small production team, you will play a key role in the assembly, finishing and preparation of bespoke products, whilst maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Skills And Experience Required
- Previous experience working as an Assembly Operative within a manufacturing or assembly environment is Essential. Applications Without This Experience Will Not Be Considered.
- Must be physically fit and capable of safely lifting and handling heavy or bulky materials throughout the working day.
- A valid Counterbalance FLT licence is desirable.
- Confident using hand and air tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual and well organised.
- Good problem-solving skills and sound judgement.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a small team.
- Adaptable and able to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Handling, lifting and assembling heavy materials and products.
- Preparing, packing and palletising orders for despatch.
- Carrying out visual inspections and quality checks on components and finished products.
- Monitoring and maintaining stock levels in line with production requirements.
- Using hand and air tools, including paint guns, grinders and impact drivers.
- Reporting any faults or defects with products, tools or machinery to management.
- Assisting colleagues across various stages of the production process as required.
- Carrying out general production duties as required.
