Assembly Operative

Castle Donington, Derbyshire

About Us

Looking for a role in manufacturing with regular hours, excellent training and the opportunity to secure a permanent position? Join Medstrom as an Assembly Operative and help manufacture products that make a real difference to healthcare professionals and patients.

Established in 2010, Medstrom has grown substantially by being patient-focused to become the organisation we are today, whilst maintaining an open culture and ethos. In 2022, Medstrom became an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT), unlike any other company in the industry. This allows each employee to have a vested interest in the company, where we can all contribute to and share in the company’s success.

We’re now looking for an Assembly Operative to join our manufacturing team in Castle Donington on a full-time, temporary basis for six months (with the potential to lead to a permanent role).

The Benefits

  • Competitive salary of £13.14 an hour (£25,623 per annum equivalent)
  • Contributory pension scheme
  • Excellent annual leave entitlement
  • Full induction with great training and support from dedicated team members
  • Receive a treat on your birthday (if it falls within your contract period)
  • Be a part of an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT)

The Role

As part of our manufacturing team, you'll assemble high-quality healthcare products that support clinicians and improve patient care across the UK.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
