Job Type: Temporary - Ongoing
Location: Springvale Business Park, Belfast

Pay Rates & Shift Details

Pay Rates:

  • Day Shift: £14.27/hr
  • Night Shift: £19.03/hr
  • Overtime (First 10 hours): £21.41/hr
  • Overtime (After 10 hours): £28.54/hr

Shift Timings (37.5 hours / week | Monday - Thursday):

Day Shift:

  • Monday: 07:00 - 17:15
  • Tuesday - Thursday: 07:00 - 16:45

Night Shift:

  • Monday: 20:15 - 06:30
  • Tuesday - Thursday: 20:45 - 06:30

Note: Positions are currently running on Day Shift. However, candidates must be prepared to work a rotational shift pattern (2 weeks Days / 2 weeks Nights) as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble high-quality axles and transmissions according to standard work instructions.
  • Perform routine functionality tests, analyze malfunctions, and carry out repairs.
  • Assist in calibrating and repairing measuring equipment, logging data into databases.
  • Strictly comply with site safety, quality standards, and 5S business improvement programs.
  • Support additional manufacturing and operational duties as required.

Required & Desired Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous assembly or mechanical experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to follow detailed procedures, verbal instructions, and standard engineering drawings.
  • Math & Logic: Competent in basic arithmetic calculations required for assembly tasks.
  • Tools & Equipment: Experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment (preferred).
  • Flexibility & Tech: Comfortable with basic computer systems and working at heights if required.
