Assembly Operative: Telford, Shropshire
Up to £13.50 per hour (DOE)
45 hours per week + Overtime Available
Full UK Driving Licence Essential
We're looking for an Assembly Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business in Telford. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in electrical assembly, automotive electrics, wiring, panel building, vehicle conversions, or electrical installation work.
If you're confident working from technical drawings and have strong practical electrical skills, this is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent role with progression and overtime opportunities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Using hand and power tools including drills, spanners, and other assembly equipment
- Completing production paperwork accurately
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Maintaining high-quality standards throughout the assembly process

What We're Looking For
- Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, fitting, or mechanical experience
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Mechanical, vehicle assembly, fitting, or engineering background preferred
- Reliable, motivated, and willing to learn
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 5:00pm
- Friday: 7:00am - 3:00pm
- 45 hours per week
Overtime is available and paid at Time and a Half following successful completion of probation.
