Pro-Found Recruitment is recruiting for a number of Assembly Operatives
Pro-Found Recruitment are recruiting for a number of Assembly Operatives for the late shift for our client based in Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72.
Assembly Operative Benefits
- Static shifts available on Day Shift – Monday to Thursday 4pm to midnight & Friday 3pm to 10pm
- Total: 39 hours per week paid weekly
- Start date: Monday 7th September 2026 – no holidays approved in the first 12 weeks due to training
- Interviews to be on held on Thursday 3rd September
- Rate of pay: £16.31 per hour – rate includes an attendance bonus
- Contract: Temporary to Permanent based on performance and attendance
- Location: Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72

Assembly Operative Duties
- Assembling cabinets
- Working on assembly / production lines
- Quality checking of materials and finished products
- Packing and taping items
- Working with wood
- Following instructions
- General Housekeeping
- Working on your own and as part of a team
- Minimum daily requirements (production targets)
Assembly Operatives Criteria
- Previous assembly/manufacturing experience – preferred but not essential
- Hard working, reliable and punctual
- Experience of operating and using hand tools
- Experience of joinery/carpentry preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions
- Good work ethic and prepared to learn new skills
