Assembly Operative

Pay: £26.5k - £29k DOE

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 6:00-14:00/7:00-15:00 Monday to Friday

Are you a reliable, methodical and detail-focused individual looking for your next opportunity? We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company in Witney who are looking for Assembly Operatives to join their growing production team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established business where you'll play an important role in the assembly and testing of electronic products. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. This role is for an initial 12-month FTC, with possibility to extend.

Duties include:

  • Assemble and test electronic products.
  • Carry out electro/mechanical assembly of electronic equipment.
  • Solder surface mount and conventional electronic components.
  • Ensure work is completed accurately and to the required quality standards.
  • Follow relevant production and quality processes.

What we're looking for:

  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Good manual dexterity and the ability to work with small components.
  • A reliable and enthusiastic attitude.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.
  • Previous experience in electro/mechanical assembly (advantageous)
  • Good soldering skills (advantageous)
