About the Role
Kinetic Recruitment are proud to be supporting a growing business in St Helens with the recruitment of permanent Assembly Operatives. Part of an established group specialising in equipment for telecoms networks, our client has built an excellent reputation within their industry and continues to grow year on year. These are fantastic opportunities for someone who enjoys hands-on, practical work and is looking to develop a long-term career within a successful manufacturing and assembly environment. You will join a busy production team where quality, safety and teamwork are important, with the opportunity to learn new skills and develop your experience.

Responsibilities
As an Assembly Operative, your responsibilities will include:
- Assembling parts and components accurately using technical drawings and diagrams
- Using hand tools and machinery safely and effectively
- Ensuring products are assembled efficiently and to the required quality standards
- Working to production targets and deadlines
- Identifying and reporting product defects or equipment issues to a Team Leader or Manager
- Safely moving components and parts when required
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Following all company Health & Safety procedures and guidelines
Requirements
We're looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and keen to learn. You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in an assembly, manufacturing or production environment
- The ability to read and understand technical drawings or diagrams
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work
- Strong practical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop new skills
Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is beneficial, but the right attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.
Benefits
- Permanent position
- £24,804 per annum (£12.72 per hour) reviewed after 6 month probationary period
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pm Friday: 7:00am - 12:30pm
- Early finish every Friday
