A well-established and growing manufacturing business in Portadown is seeking a motivated General Operative to join its production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within a supportive and fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Your new role
As a General Operative, you will play a key role in supporting daily production activities and ensuring products are manufactured to the highest standards. Duties will include:
- Working effectively as part of a busy production team
- Following all production processes and procedures accurately
- Identifying faults, defects, or errors and taking appropriate corrective action where required
- Using a range of hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Maintaining high standards of quality throughout the manufacturing process
- Ensuring a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Supporting colleagues to achieve production targets and deadlines

Working hours
Mon - Thurs 8am - 5pm and Fri 8am - 1.30pm
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, assembly, or engineering environment is desirable
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
