Position Summary
The Role
We are seeking two Assembly Operators to join our Fareham manufacturing team on the Twilight Shift. These positions are focused on the brazing and assembly of specialised aerospace components within a precision manufacturing environment.
Working as part of a skilled production team, you will be responsible for preparing and processing components through various manufacturing stages, including brazing, furnace operation, assembly and leak testing. This role is predominantly desk based but combines hands-on manufacturing activities with process-driven tasks and requires a high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Prepare and assemble aerospace components in accordance with manufacturing specifications and work instructions
- Mix and apply braze paste and materials to components prior to the brazing process
- Operate vacuum furnaces, including loading and unloading parts, setting programmes and monitoring production runs
- Carry out leak testing and inspection activities using specialised testing equipment to verify product quality and compliance
- Prepare new jobs for production and maintain accurate process documentation while working to aerospace quality standards
Qualifications
Skills Required:
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering or production environment
- Mechanical assembly experience with the ability to work accurately on precision components
- Experience of brazing processes, ideally vacuum brazing, or transferable experience working with brazing materials and processes
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions, documented procedures and quality standards
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a regulated manufacturing environment
