Position Type:
- Hourly – Non-exempt
- Overtime eligible
Shift Details:
- Primary Hours: 3:15 p.m. – 1:45 a.m.
- Weekly Schedule: Monday to Thursday (~10 hours), with occasional overtime on weekends.
Benefits Eligible:
- Vacation: Prorated 80 hours per year

This role involves safely producing and finishing solid and veneered wood products utilizing advanced machinery, hand tools, and sanding equipment.

Primary Duties:
- Production:
- Handle customer orders, inventory, product samples, and prototypes.
- Maintain high attention to detail, accuracy, and work quality.
- Operational Safety:
- Oversight of machinery operation to ensure safety compliance.
- Responsible for safeguarding self and facility colleagues (e.g., classroom/workshop setting).
- Ability to read safety data sheets (SDS) required.

Qualifications
Required:
- Work Ethic:
- Dependable, punctual attendance.
- Ability to interact professionally with team members for safe, high-quality production.
- Health & Safety Skills:
- Capable of interpreting Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
- Physical Demands:
- Duty involves standing, bending, reaching, frequent lifting (up to 25 lbs), and occasional carrying (up to 50 lbs).
- Standard vision requirements include color, depth perception, and focus shifting.
Preferred but Not Mandatory:
- 1–3 years of manufacturing experience.
- High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent).
- Basic familiarity with wood products and finishing preferred.

Work Environment
- Manufacturing Facility:
- Operates in a normal indoor temperature environment with **occasional heat/cold shifts`.
- Can include unsteady surfaces, cords, tools, and miscellaneous hazards.
- Dust, dirt, or noise present; PPE mandatory (e.g., safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toe shoes).
- Task-Based:
- Uses office equipment (includes computers, phones, photocopiers).
- Erika may have exposure to changing DB/DIM calibration standards of activities related to factory production seasonality.
