Assembly Setter – Warrington

We are seeking 1 Assembly Setter to join our team in Warrington.

This is an excellent opportunity to join our manufacturing team, where you will play a key role in setting and operating machinery to deliver high-quality products in line with production targets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and running a number of machines, ensuring products are manufactured to specification, quality standards, and required output levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and operate multiple machines
  • Achieve output levels as per site targets
  • Adjust machine settings including tooling, alignment, and air pressure and ensure product quality
  • Read and interpret product drawings accurately
  • Carry out all required quality inspection checks in line with feature charts and engineering drawings
  • Use a range of mechanical measuring and test equipment, including shadow graphs, micrometers, gauges, and Vernier calipers
  • Monitor machine performance during operation and identify issues such as tooling wear, misalignment, or product defects
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the immediate work area and on assigned machines
  • Work independently for extended periods, using initiative and maintaining a flexible, can-do approach

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and product specifications
  • Experience carrying out quality inspections and using measuring equipment
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and address machine or product issues
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Flexible attitude and strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity
