What you’ll do:
This position is responsible for leading an assembly manufacturing team to achieve production schedule adherence, product quality, cost, and employee safety objectives while driving the deployment of the Eaton Continuous Improvement methodology.
The role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and other support functions, to ensure customer requirements are consistently met. It is accountable for delivering operational performance that achieves or exceeds financial plans, business objectives, and strategic goals.
The position fosters a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement by motivating, coaching, and developing employees to build and sustain a high-performing team. Through effective leadership and Lean manufacturing principles, the role drives operational excellence, productivity improvements, waste elimination, and a safe working environment.
- Lead manufacturing teams through front-line supervisors to ensure customer requirements are achieved while meeting Quality, On-Time Delivery (OTD), and Stock Fill Rate (SFR) objectives.
- Monitor operational performance and key performance indicators, taking corrective actions to achieve targets for cost, quality, delivery, productivity, and safety.
- Drive continuous improvement within the Assembly department through deployment of Eaton Continuous Improvement System (ECIS) tools, including Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Material Flow, Problem Solving methodologies, and 3P initiatives.
- Ensure all manufacturing documentation, system transactions, and reporting requirements are completed accurately to support customer, operational, and financial objectives.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, quality standards, and manufacturing system requirements to ensure consistent product quality.
- Demonstrate leadership and commitment to the deployment and sustainment of the Eaton Business System.
- Collaborate with functional leaders and the site leadership team to support departmental objectives and overall business strategy.
- Ensure Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements are effectively implemented in accordance with local regulations, Eaton policies, and corporate standards.
- Manage team performance through coaching, development, talent reviews, succession planning, recognition, and appropriate corrective actions.
- Support strategic initiatives, annual operating plans, budget preparation, and capital investment projects through successful implementation and delivery.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional manufacturing initiatives to drive operational excellence, standardization, and best-practice sharing across the plant.

Qualifications:
Skills:
- Experience leading a team & driving continuous improvements
- Strong knowledge and practical application of Lean Manufacturing tools, techniques, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Thorough understanding of manufacturing technologies, production processes, and operational excellence principles.
- Proven supervisory and management experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of production flow principles and value stream optimisation.
- Demonstrated problem-solving experience, utilizing structured methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why, A3, PDCA, or similar approaches.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity objectives.
- Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing sustainable process improvements.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
