Salary: A GBP 14 - A GBP 15 per hour + shift allowance
We are currently recruiting for a Assembly Team Leader to join an established and growing manufacturing business in Nottingham.
This is a hands on leadership role where you will be responsible for supporting and coordinating the Assembly team, whilst also getting involved in the assembly of fabricated metal components. You will play an important role in ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

- Lead and support small Assembly team on day to day basis
- Organise workloads, allocate tasks and keep production moving to schedule
- Carry out hands on assembly work using a range of hand and power tools
- Interpret and work from basic engineering drawings and specifications
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality requirements
- Assist with the training and development of new and existing team members
- Escalate any production, quality or technical issues as they arise
- Work closely with other departments to ensure production deadlines are achieved

About You
- Previous assembly experience gained within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Experience supervising, coordinating or leading a small team
- The ability to understand and work from engineering drawings
- A good eye for detail and a strong focus on quality
- Effective communication skills
- A hands on, proactive approach to problem solving
- Experience working with sheet metal or fabricated products would be beneficial
