Working Hours : Rotating Shift Pattern

Week 1

Monday to Friday: 6:00am : 2:00pm

Week 2

Monday to Thursday: 12:30pm : 10:00pm

The Role

As an Assembly Technician, you'll play a key role in the assembly and manufacture of complex mechanical and electrical equipment, ensuring products are built safely, accurately, and to the highest standards.

Working as part of a skilled production team, you'll be involved in every stage of the assembly process and contribute to the delivery of exceptional products for customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble large electrical and mechanical components to specification
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical documents, and assembly instructions
  • Safely operate overhead cranes to move and position components and assemblies
  • Carry out mechanical assembly work to high quality standards
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  • Support continuous improvement activities across the production department
  • Ensure all work is completed accurately and efficiently

What We're Looking For

We're Keen To Hear From Candidates Who Have

  • At least 3 years experience within assembly, mechanical fitting, or manufacturing environments
  • Experience working from engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and practical engineering skills
  • Experience operating overhead cranes (up to 120 tonnes desirable)
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • A proactive approach to health and safety
  • A positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
