As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a number of Assembly Technician's to join our production team.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and detail-oriented technician to contribute to the manufacture of high-quality cable assemblies and wiring systems used in critical defence applications.
You will be responsible for building cable assemblies and harnesses to the highest standards while supporting the assembly and wiring of electronic sub-assemblies, enclosures, and racks in accordance with MOD and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture cable assemblies and wiring harnesses to a high standard.
- Carry out cable looming using lacing techniques and cable management accessories.
- Assist with the wiring and assembly of electronic sub-assemblies and enclosures from engineering documentation and process instructions.
- Support the mechanical assembly of equipment and systems where required.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative production team.
- Maintain high levels of quality workmanship and attention to detail.
- Ensure good housekeeping standards within the production environment.
- Work safely within ESD-protected areas.
- Maintain tools and equipment in accordance with company procedures, including shadow board systems.
- Comply with all health, safety, COSHH, and quality requirements.
- Report hazards, near misses, and actively contribute to a positive safety culture.
- Undertake additional reasonable duties as required.
Essential Skills & Experience
- 1-2 years' experience in cable assembly, wiring, or electronic manufacturing.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification, or equivalent experience.
- Experience working to MOD or defence industry standards.
- Knowledge of ESD-controlled production environments.
- Understanding of company quality and manufacturing standards.
- Competency across a broad range of cable assembly and wiring skills.
