Salary Range: Up to SGD 3,000
Work Setup: Onsite
Shift Schedule: Rotating Shift
Location: Singapore
The role
The Assembly Technician (Fiber Optics & Optoelectronics) will be responsible for the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and optical components, with a focus on Fiber Loop Assembly (FLA) products. The role requires strong hands-on experience in optical fiber handling, precision assembly, and optical alignment while maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship.
Your Responsibilities
Fiber Optics Assembly & Testing
- Perform mechanical, electrical, and optical assembly and testing in accordance with engineering specifications.
- Perform fiber routing, looping, cable management, stripping, cleaning, and cleaving.
- Carry out fiber bonding, sealing, curing, polishing, and end-face inspection.
- Perform fiber collimation and optical alignment to meet product performance requirements.
- Read and follow engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions, and quality standards.

Production & Quality
- Use precision tools, test equipment, microscopes, and vacuum systems as required.
- Complete production records and electronic documentation accurately.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, cleanliness, safety, and quality.
- Support troubleshooting, process improvements, and corrective actions to improve production efficiency.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, production, and leadership teams to support production requirements.
- Assist in training fellow employees on relevant processes and work instructions.
- Adapt to changing production requirements and support other operational activities when needed.
What We're Looking For
Educational Background
- GCE ’N’ Level or Technical Certificate.
Experience
- Relevant experience in a manufacturing or process-driven environment, preferably with hands-on experience in Fiber Loop Assembly (FLA), fiber optics manufacturing, or optical assembly processes.
