About Rocket Factory Augsburg

At Rocket Factory Augsburg (RFA), we have one clear goal: to create low-cost, flexible, and reliable access to space. We specialize in building small launch vehicles designed to deploy satellites into Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and beyond. Together with you, we aim to revolutionize space services and help improve life on Earth. Sounds interesting? Then join our journey and become part of the team driving the New Space movement in Europe.

About The Team

Our international and agile team is searching for a Technician and Plant Operator (f/m/d) in the UK. This is a rare opportunity to be involved in building and operation UK’s first vertical launch site. You will help lead the fabrication, installation, commissioning and maintenance of systems at our Launch site on the Shetland Islands, with the opportunity to travel to our other sites across Europe should the need arise. You will have the choice of either being based at the launch site in Unst, or working on a rotation pattern. If you enjoy working in a dynamic and international team of dedicated people, then apply.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
