Role Description
The Assembly Technician role at demanu is a full-time, on-site position based in Antrim. In this role, the technician will assemble mechanical and/or electromechanical components according to technical drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include:

The technician will collaborate with engineers and production team members, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and follow all health and safety procedures. The role may also involve assisting with prototype builds, continuous improvement activities, and documentation of assembly processes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a similar hands-on technical role in an industrial or engineering environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and assembly documentation.
- Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, gauges, tape measures).
- Strong attention to detail, quality-focused mindset, and ability to follow standardized procedures and safety guidelines.
- Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and escalate issues in the assembly process.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with engineers and production colleagues.
- Basic computer skills for recording production data, completing checklists, and accessing digital documentation.
- Relevant technical or vocational qualification in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is beneficial.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to new processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
