Our client, a highly respected professional membership body, is seeking an organised, proactive, and adaptable Assessments Executive to join its Learning and Development team on a fixed-term basis.
The Learning and Development team supports a globally recognised portfolio of certified training courses, delivered to more than 75,000 learners each year through an international network of Approved Training Partners.
This is a varied operational and coordination role, supporting several areas of the L&D function during an exciting period of transformation. Previous experience supporting assessments, examinations, qualifications, or certification processes is essential, ideally gained within a professional body or membership organisation.
The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple priorities, building positive stakeholder relationships, and taking ownership of tasks to ensure deadlines and service standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and coordination support to the Head of Learning and Development and the wider management team.
- Organise meetings, prepare agendas, take accurate minutes, and follow up agreed actions.
- Support the day-to-day management of shared team inboxes, ensuring enquiries are allocated and answered promptly.
- Allocate and respond to customer queries through Zendesk or a similar ticketing platform.
- Allocate learner proctoring videos to reviewers, monitor agreed service levels, and escalate issues where necessary.
- Review proctoring videos when required.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with Approved Training Partners and other external stakeholders.
- Coordinate quality-assurance activities, including audits and course sampling.
- Liaise with technical assessors, training partners, and internal colleagues to schedule monitoring activities and confirm requirements.
- Prepare and distribute documentation relating to monitoring and quality-assurance activities.
- Support the timely submission and processing of assessor invoices.
- Produce monthly management reports, analysing performance information and identifying key trends.
- Coordinate partner updates and webinars, including collating content, drafting communications, and improving PowerPoint presentations.
- Schedule customer surveys and undertake preliminary analysis of learner and partner feedback.
- Provide flexible operational support across the team as priorities evolve.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
