Assessment Quality Officer (Part Time) Fixed Term Until July 2027

  • Job Type: Fixed term until July 2027, Part Time, 30 Hours per Week (4 Days)
  • Salary: Circa £24,800 per annum (FTE £31,000.00)
  • Location: IB (International Baccalaureate®) Global Centre, Cardiff
  • Hybrid working opportunity, working from the office at least once per fortnight

About the Job

The Assessment Quality Officer is part of the team responsible for quality assuring IB assessments worldwide. More information about IB assessments can be found at www.ibo.org/about-assessment.

You will be one of three analysts responsible for quality assuring assessments. You will interpret assessment data to make decisions that ensure high levels of quality assurance. You will work closely with the other two analysts to ensure a consistent standard of decision making.

You will be a member of the Assessment Quality team which is part of the Quality and planning department within the Assessment and Operations Office. The Assessment and Operations Office is responsible for ensuring that the May and November examination sessions are properly delivered and that candidate results are accurate, appropriate and released on time.
