As an Assessment & Testing Technical Developer, you'll lead the design, development and continuous improvement of CITB's health, safety and technical assessment portfolio. Working alongside technical specialists, subject matter experts and product teams, you'll create robust, accessible and innovative assessments that accurately measure competence and support meaningful learning.
This is a highly specialist role where you'll combine evidence-based assessment design, data analysis and question bank management to ensure our assessments remain valid, reliable and fit for purpose. You'll also play a key role in introducing new approaches, including the responsible use of AI-assisted assessment development, while ensuring quality, fairness and regulatory compliance remain at the heart of everything we produce.
If you have a strong background in assessment development within adult learning, further education or awarding organisations—and enjoy influencing best practice, solving complex assessment challenges and working with a wide range of stakeholders—we'd love to hear from you.
