The Role: Securitized Products Analyst – ABS Focus
Key Responsibilities
Act as a Securitized Products Analyst, with a primary focus on Asset-Backed Securities (ABS), while maintaining flexibility to assess other securitized sectors as needed:
- Provide analysis, insights, and investment recommendations across the capital stack, including:
- Autos
- Equipment leasing
- Data centers
- Esoteric ABS
- Identify risk-adjusted investment opportunities in Total Return and High Income portfolios.
- Contribute to the development, launch, and management of new ABS strategies (public and private markets).
Core Duties:
- Generate and communicate investment recommendations on risk-adjusted returns, income generation, and capital preservation.
- Analyze and articulate key drivers of return, including:
- Carry
- Duration
- Volatility
- Liquidity
- Optionality
- Credit/default risk
- Perform detailed cash-flow, structural, and scenario analysis using tools:
- Intex
- Bloomberg
- Build, maintain, and update relative-value and sector models.
- Collaborate with internal risk and analytics teams to develop and refine:
- Securitized-portfolio risk measures
- Reporting tools
- Conduct ongoing portfolio surveillance and performance monitoring.
- Assume other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with expertise in:
- Structured-finance cash-flow and scenario analysis
- Proficiency in:
- Excel (advanced levels)
- Bloomberg
- Intex
- Working knowledge of:
- Python, SQL, or VBA (for data analysis, automation, or surveillance)
- Solid understanding of:
- Fixed income markets
- Structured products
- Credit analysis
- Ability to:
- Work independently
- Collaborate effectively in a team
- Sharp attention to detail with the capacity to synthesise large volumes of data quickly.
- Commitment to building and supporting the investment platform.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Post-graduate degree (e.g., MBA, CFA, or CPA).
- Strong creativity, initiative, and drive.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to:
- Articulate ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively
- Strong interpersonal skills to:
- Build internal and external relationships
Investment Focus & Career Growth
- Primary responsibility: Supporting portfolios within the Fixed Income research team.
- No supervisory duties at this stage, but clear pathways to development:
