Asset Engineer (E&P) – Fixed Plant & Contact Systems

Location: Stratford, London (Hybrid)

Contract: 8 Months (Extension Possible)

Rate: £410–£520 per day (Inside IR35)

Requirement: PTS & Sentinel Card

We're looking for an experienced Asset Engineer (E&P) to support the development of long-term asset strategies and investment plans for fixed plant and traction power infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop E&P asset strategies and investment plans.
  • Support renewal, refurbishment and enhancement programmes.
  • Assess asset condition and provide engineering recommendations.
  • Produce technical reports, business cases and asset management plans.
  • Work closely with engineering, maintenance and project teams.

Essential Experience:

  • Asset engineering, maintenance or asset management background.
  • Knowledge of Electrification & Plant (E&P) assets.
  • Experience with fixed plant, contact systems, OLE, traction power or similar infrastructure.
  • Strong analytical, reporting and stakeholder management skills.
  • Rail industry experience is desirable.
