Lease Finance Limited is looking for experienced asset finance brokers to join our growing national network of self-employed brokers.

This is a genuinely self-employed, commission-only opportunity. There is no basic salary. Applicants must have previous experience originating asset finance business and understand the asset finance proposal process.

Established in 1984, Lease Finance Limited provides asset finance and complementary funding solutions to SMEs throughout the UK.

Our core business is asset finance, including funding for:

  • Commercial vehicles
  • Plant and machinery
  • Construction equipment
  • Agricultural and forestry equipment
  • Cars and light commercial vehicles
  • Other business-critical assets

Our brokers can also offer invoice finance, commercial loans and revenue-based funding solutions through our established lender panel.

The opportunity

As a self-employed Asset Finance Broker, you will develop your own client and introducer relationships while benefiting from the lender access, systems, compliance framework and support of an established asset finance brokerage.

You will be responsible for:

  • Generating and developing asset finance opportunities
  • Building relationships with SMEs, suppliers, dealers and professional introducers
  • Understanding clients’ asset and funding requirements
  • Identifying suitable asset finance solutions
  • Gathering the information required to submit proposals
  • Managing your pipeline and maintaining regular client contact
  • Working with the LFL team to progress applications through to completion
  • Maintaining high professional, ethical and compliance standards

Who we are looking for

Applicants must have direct experience in asset finance broking, asset finance sales or asset finance business development.

You should:

  • Understand hire purchase, finance lease and related asset finance products
  • Understand the asset finance application and proposal process
  • Be confident developing your own clients, suppliers and introducer relationships
  • Have strong communication and relationship-management skills
  • Be self-motivated and comfortable working independently
  • Be capable of managing a pipeline from initial enquiry through to completion
  • Understand that this is a self-employed, commission-only opportunity with no basic salary

  • This is a commission-only opportunity with no basic salary
  • Brokers are responsible for generating and developing their own business
  • Brokers pay a monthly support and systems fee of £170 plus VAT
  • Full commission terms and details of the support included will be explained before appointment

This opportunity is not suitable for applicants whose experience is limited to mortgages, insurance, financial planning or unrelated sales.

This is not an entry-level sales position. Applications without relevant asset finance experience are unlikely to be progressed.
