As part of a planned £1 billion investment programme in the UK, the business is looking to appoint an Operations Compliance Manager (Portfolio HSEQ Manager) to develop and embed fleet-wide compliance systems, governance frameworks and operational standards that will support the next phase of growth.

Role Overview

Reporting into the senior leadership team, you’ll lead the implementation of a compliance strategy that aligns management systems across the portfolio, delivers ISO certification across Quality, Health & Safety and Asset Management, and drives a culture of continuous improvement.

If you have the relevant experience (please see below) and are looking for a rewarding role in the Power sector, then please apply.

Responsibilities And Duties

As the Operations Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Develop, implement and continuously improve the company’s compliance, governance and assurance framework across multiple operational sites.
  • Implement, maintain and develop ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 55001 management systems, ensuring best practice is embedded throughout the business.
  • Ensure the portfolio remains compliant with environmental permits, statutory legislation and industry regulations while maintaining audit readiness.
  • Conduct compliance audits and assessments, identifying risks, driving corrective actions and delivering continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and enhance policies, procedures, risk assessments and safe systems of work that support safe and efficient operations.
  • Lead environmental compliance activities, including regulator engagement, emissions reporting and permit management.
  • Investigate incidents, identify root causes and implement effective corrective and preventative actions to improve business performance.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering and Asset Management teams to promote a positive compliance culture and provide expert guidance across maintenance, outage and capital projects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
