Asset Information Analyst

Location: Kent - Hybrid - 2 days per week onsite

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Rate: £325 per day Inside IR35

Duration: 6 months initially

Role Overview

Our client is seeking an Asset Information Analyst to support the accuracy, integrity, and governance of asset and maintenance data within enterprise asset management systems. You will play a key role in maintaining high-quality asset records, optimising maintenance information, and supporting data-driven decision-making within a regulated infrastructure environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and validate asset data within enterprise asset management systems.
  • Ensure asset hierarchies, maintenance records, and PM schedules are accurate and compliant.
  • Analyse asset data, identify inconsistencies, and drive data quality improvements.
  • Work closely with engineering, operations, maintenance, and project teams to manage asset information.
  • Produce reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to support operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Support asset lifecycle management, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Experience in Asset Management, Asset Information, or Data Management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of IBM Maximo Asset Management / Maximo Manage, including asset hierarchies and maintenance modules.
  • Experience working with complex datasets and maintaining data quality.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and SQL.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience within the UK Water or regulated utilities sector.
  • Knowledge of Python, Java, or advanced SQL.
  • Experience with FME, Power Query, Google Looker, or SAP BI.
