Asset Integration Lead – KKS Plant Identification
At ENGIE, we are accelerating the energy transition through world-class asset management and engineering excellence. First Hydro Company operates two of the UK's most strategically important pumped-storage power stations, and we need someone who can bring order, rigour, and leadership to how we identify and manage our plant.
This is a role where your technical precision directly supports the reliability of low-carbon, flexible power generation. You will shape how KKS is governed, applied, and embedded across Ffestiniog and Dinorwig — for today's operations and tomorrow's infrastructure.
Summary Of What You Will Do
- Lead governance and oversight of KKS Plant Identification across First Hydro Company, acting as the primary contact for all KKS-related queries and decisions.
- Own and maintain the FHC master KKS listing, ensuring it remains the single source of truth and that approved updates are consistently applied.
- Lead KKS roll-out across both sites, including replanting works, and ensure alignment across contractor deliverables, technical documents, and asset information platforms.
- Chair KKS governance meetings, manage document reviews with the Main Contractor, and maintain clear records of decisions and actions.
- Perform detailed quality checks on KKS data and technical documents, interrogating P&IDs, Bills of Materials, and equipment lists to resolve gaps and inconsistencies.
- Update and maintain KKS procedures, Contractor Design Memos, and governance documentation following approved changes.
- Deliver KKS training and awareness sessions to staff, contractors, and stakeholders, capturing lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
