About The Job

TUI Group is the world's number one integrated tourism business and as an Asset Lifecycle Engineer within our Technical Aircraft Asset Management function, you'll optimise lifecycle costs for all aircraft in TUI Aviation by managing the day-to-day asset lifecycle activities and driving continuous optimization of aircraft asset performance, value and cost throughout the lifecycle.

Working closely with the Airframe Asset Manager, you'll review maintenance activities on airframes, landing gears, and engines to identify warranty claims and negotiate commercial support from suppliers and OEMs.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • The role involves maintaining our Aircraft Asset information database to ensure it remains a single source of truth for all aircraft, landing gear and engine assets, whilst administering aircraft lease agreements into our Contract Management System.
  • Mapping, documenting and continuously improving administrative and operational processes will enhance efficiency and transparency across the wider airframe lifecycle management team.
  • Supporting the administration of technical and financial asset roadmaps, you'll maintain records, monitor lifecycle milestones and ensure complete collection of asset lifecycle cost data to improve utilisation and performance.
