Job Purpose
Support the Asset Maintenance system and the catalogue database.
Job Description
Provide support to the organisation for users of its Asset Maintenance System (AMS) and ensure the AMS is functioning correctly.
- Ensure that the AMS is structured in a user-friendly way and where there are failings, raise a case with the appropriate support/help desk.
- Support the Fleet and Connected Assets (i.e., Le Trait, ROV, and UK Workshop Department) from cases raised in the AMS support desk.
- Provide AMS support and maintenance for the AMS manual, purchasing, Inventory, manifesting, logistics, maintenance, training, and critical spares within the AMS environment.
- Work and liaise with IDS to ensure the smooth operation of the AMS system, participate in testing and diagnostic processes.
- Review the AMS Training material, Procedures, and Process as required for compliance and relativity.
- Maintain the catalogue, reduce duplications, and help/facilitate/streamline the naming process of parts/spares.
- Carry out monthly checks (desktop and on board) on vessel/connected assets store’s inventory stock systems and catalogue entries within your area of responsibility and record findings over a rolling year.
- Interface with vessel Chief Engineers, Material Coordinators, and Vessel Discipline Superintendents at least once a week as a minimum and monthly through a dedicated meeting.
- Follow the appropriate Change process and work with stakeholders to ensure any Asset Management business objectives are being met.

- Experience managing asset maintenance systems (HxGN EAM / SAP / Maximo etc).
- Worked in shipping asset management.
- General IT skills (MS Word, Excel, etc).
