Analyst - Asset Management (Private Equity)

Join Global University Systems' Asset Management team and play a key role in driving value creation across a diverse international portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional with 2-4 years' post-graduate experience to gain exposure to investment strategy, portfolio management, M&A activity, and senior stakeholder decision-making.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Analyse portfolio company performance and identify value creation opportunities.
  • Build financial models, forecasts, and investment analysis to support strategic decisions.
  • Monitor financial and operational KPIs across portfolio businesses.
  • Support acquisitions, due diligence, integrations, and transformation initiatives.
  • Prepare board papers, investment committee materials, and investor reporting.
  • Conduct market, sector, and competitor research to inform investment decisions.
  • Partner closely with portfolio management teams and senior leaders across the Group.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • 2-4 years' experience within Private Equity, Investment Banking, Transaction Services, Strategy Consulting, Asset Management, or Big Four Deals Advisory.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • Comfortable working with complex data and translating insights into commercial recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

Desirable

  • MBA from a leading business school.
  • CFA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification.
  • Exposure to portfolio management, principal investing, M&A, or value creation programmes.
