How do investment firms build client relationships, raise capital and turn investment strategies into solutions for their clients?
Join a leading global asset management firm and gain practical experience at the intersection of investments, client relationships and business strategy. You’ll contribute to real projects, work with experienced professionals and develop your understanding of a global investment business.
Applications are welcome from students across all degree disciplines. Previous financial services experience is not required.
The opportunities
Internship opportunities are available across three teams within the firm’s Client Coverage division, which connects investment expertise with the needs of institutional clients and distribution partners.
Alternatives Solutions
Gain exposure to private markets across infrastructure, real estate, private debt and multi-alternatives solutions. Working alongside client coverage, investment and product teams, you’ll:
- Support client engagement, fundraising, presentations and investor communications.
- Research markets and competitors, analyse data and track fundraising activity.
- Help coordinate investment content for client proposals, requests for proposals and due diligence.
- Contribute to market updates and thought leadership, helping translate investment strategies into client solutions.

Central COO Office
Discover how a global client coverage business manages its operations, measures performance and delivers its strategic priorities. You’ll:
- Analyse sales, market and industry data to support reporting and business decisions.
- Contribute to strategic projects and digital transformation initiatives.
- Prepare analysis and presentations for senior management.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing and product specialists to develop client materials and support projects across regions.
Global Key Partners Coverage
Explore how the firm develops and manages its most significant global partnerships. You’ll:
- Help coordinate activity across sales, product specialists, portfolio management and senior stakeholders.
- Support client presentations, partner engagement and global relationship strategies.
- Turn partner discussions into actionable follow-ups and insights into potential business opportunities.
- Help connect executive management with key partners to strengthen long-term relationships.
Essential eligibility requirements
To be considered, you must:
- Be currently enrolled on a bachelor’s or master’s degree and on track to graduate by 1 July 2028.
- Hold valid UK right to work from June through August 2027.
- Be available to work full-time throughout the internship, starting at the end of June and running through August 2027.
- Be able to attend the London office at least two days per week.
- Have advanced English language skills. German is beneficial but not essential.

What you’ll bring
- A keen interest in financial services and asset management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with close attention to detail.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Clear communication and presentation skills.
- A structured, organised approach to complex projects.
- Curiosity, sound judgement and the ability to learn quickly.
- A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for exploring how technology and AI can improve research, analysis and productivity.
What you’ll gain
You’ll develop practical experience through individual projects, speaker sessions and networking events, with support from mentors and managers. You’ll also explore emerging technologies and their responsible use in asset management.
Subject to performance, successful interns may be offered a place on the firm’s graduate programme the following year.
