Asset Management Consultant

Key aspects of the role
This Asset Management position is an ideal fit for someone who has already gained exposure to the defence industry and is eager to continue developing their skill set. With foundational knowledge in place, you will experience opportunities for growth through hands-on experience, mentorship, and the chance to take on more complex challenges.
As part of the Support Engineering Capability, you will support our clients in the identification and implementation of improved Asset Management Methodologies to extract value for their own business, whilst demonstrating our output-based successes. The day-to-day role will include:
- Identifying, guiding, and supporting Strategic Asset Management processes within client programmes.
- Successfully identifying and delivering value, task alignment, and assurance against agreed project deliverables.
- Identifying, assessing, and managing technical risk and opportunities.
- Customer and stakeholder relationship management and development.
- Managing and controlling the Asset Management System design and development process.
- Preparing and presenting technical reports and presentations.
- Collaborating across wider Whitetree teams, service lines, and client projects.

You will work from home and travel to client sites when needed.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience managing or supporting design and development of facilities and infrastructure within a defence environment.
- Knowledge and interest in asset management practices, theory, and ISO 55000 series.
- Experience of working with asset data systems.
- Experience of implementing or constructing design solutions and evaluating effectiveness.
- Background in managing engineering activities that contribute to sustainable development.
- Excellent communicator able to convey new concepts effectively verbally and in writing.
- A skilled presenter, engaging clients with innovative engineering technology developments.
- An effective collaborator, online and in person, with large/small teams and independently.
- Strong project management skills.
- An IAM qualification would be advantageous, however, not essential.
- Current right to live and work in the UK.
- Current SC clearance or willing and eligible to undergo a Security Clearance check*.
- Happy to travel.
