Asset Management - Operations Associate must have Asset Management Experience

Location - London (West End, London)
Salary - £50,000 to £60,000 base salary + benefits and bonus (discretionary bonus)

Start Date - Immediate / 1mth notice Max

ASSET MANAGEMENT Operations experience ONLY - please.

Our client will not be able to wait for 2027 graduates and need Asset Operations experience, covering trade support - covering trade confirmations, agreeing daily NAVs, custodian reconciliations, cash and stock recs, covering Equities (Unit Trusts, Mutual Trusts, Fixed Income Sovereign Bonds) and hands on trade life cycle event processing - namely corporate actions and coupons.

Working Model - Hybrid - 3:2 (3 days in the office and 2 days WFH)

Right to Work - UK Right to Work, please note no PSV (time limited) / Dependant Visa - (That has 3rd party risk) will NOT be considered, you must have no restrictions, (time limitation and dependency). Please note No Client sponsorship is offered.


We’re looking for an Asset Management - Operations Associate to support the day-to-day running of a growing Investment Management operations function in London.

Trade Support - covering trade confirmations, agreeing daily NAVs, custodian reconciliations, cash and stock recs, covering Equities (Unit Trusts, Mutual Trusts, Fixed Income Sovereign Bonds) and hands on trade life cycle event processing - namely corporate actions and coupons.

Need Asset Management Trade Support, facing of to PMs and Trading desk, and not client services profiles. Need to have hands on experience covering trade confirmations, agreeing NAVs, and custody recs. With specific coverage of Equities, Fixed Income, products.

This is a great opportunity for someone in their career who wants to diversify their asset class coverage across Fixed Income, Equities, and Derivatives - multi-management Investment Management.

You will get exposure across front to back processes, systems, and stakeholders, with clear progression opportunities and the business has several examples of Analysts progressing across into the business and other functional areas including Finance and Risk.

You’ll work closely with Senior operations and front office trading teams to manage traded portfolios, and risk management, whilst being proactive to help improve efficiency, maintain smooth workflows, and support business growth across global markets.

Key Responsibilities Asset Management - Operations Associate

  • Support daily operational processes and ensure tasks are completed on time across Equities, Fixed Income investments.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to resolve operational issues.
  • Maintain accurate records, trackers, and operational data.
  • Support project delivery and ad-hoc operational initiatives.
  • Help identify inefficiencies and suggest practical improvements.

About You

  • 1-3 years’ max experience in an operations, from an Asset Manager / OR Investment Management - ONLY.
  • Must have Trade Support experience, client will not consider wealth operations, or banking operations.
  • Direct experience agreeing NAVs.
  • STEM-based degree is highly desirable and attitude to want to learn and be in the office.
  • 3:2 days in the London office, and a dynamic learning environment.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and systems - advanced Excel VBA Macros being highly advantageous. Excel Assessment will be undertaken as part of the screening process.
  • Proactive, reliable, and keen to learn and able to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
