Asset Management Team Leader
We're looking for an Asset Management Team Leader to join our Asset & Professional Services team based in Brixworth, Northamptonshire. This is a key role where you will lead and coordinate asset management across the contract, helping turn asset data, network condition information and long-term priorities into practical plans that support better investment decisions and improved network performance.
Location: Brixworth, Northamptonshire
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
Salary: from £50,000 per year + private healthcare + benefits

What will you be responsible for?
As An Asset Management Team Leader, You'll Be Working Closely With Operational Teams, Specialist Asset Owners, Supply Chain Partners And The Client To Shape Clear, Evidence-based Priorities And Investment Plans. As a Team Leader, You'll Support And Develop a Small Team, Encouraging Collaboration, Accountability And Continuous Improvement. Supporting Them In Delivering Asset Management Services For North Northamptonshire Council And West Northamptonshire Council. Your Day To Day Will Include

- Leading and developing the Asset Management team, providing clear direction and support
- Maintaining asset inventories, condition data and key information to support informed decision-making
- Shaping evidence-based asset priorities and investment recommendations using condition, risk and performance data
- Building positive relationships with teams, clients, supply chain partners and stakeholders
- Improving asset management processes and governance to enhance service delivery
What are we looking for?
This role of Asset Management Team Leader is ideal for someone who:
- Brings experience in asset management, highways maintenance, infrastructure management, or a related engineering environment.
- Has a proven ability to analyse asset condition, performance, and lifecycle data to support investment decisions and long-term maintenance strategies.
- Enjoys leading and developing high-performing teams, creating an environment where people can thrive and achieve their potential.
- Communicates confidently with a range of stakeholders, translating technical information into clear, practical recommendations.
- Takes a collaborative approach to problem-solving and building strong relationships to deliver successful outcomes across complex projects and programmes.
