Job Title: Asset Co-ordinator
Please note: Automatic promotion is not guaranteed
Dynamic working: 3-4 days per week on-site, due to nature of role
The Opportunity:
This UK wide Asset Management initiative looks at all assets (except FM and DEX) across the business and uses data to inform new strategies that will increase productivity, simplify processes, and reduce costs.
We’re looking for someone who has experience in change management and an enthusiasm for continuous improvement. We need someone who can help lead the business to implement a new software asset lifecycle solution and be responsible for the database within. As part of this, we need someone who is analytical and can interpret data to form strategies. This person will be a focal point of this new asset database, supporting the set up of the new software (Indysoft), reviewing inputs, and ensuring process adherence.
What We’re Looking For From You:
- Someone who enjoys continuous improvement and new challenges
- Can build on previous skills to implement a process set aligned to ISO 55000 series (Asset Management) (note this role excludes facilities management and information technology assets)
- Support the building of the asset database on a new system, including system set up and process flows
- Help cleanse and gather data available to build a robust database of all assets held
- Conduct analysis of the data gathered in order to implement further improvements and to help the Asset Manager construct strategies
- Support a new process set adherence and provide guidance to all asset owners on general queries
- Provide support to the UK Asset Manager with activities including reporting and communications
- Helps to generate and co-ordinate the asset management initiative communication plan
- Collaborates with other internal departments to manage the introduction of new assets from both a physical and data perspective.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
