Asset Manager - Associate | UK Real Estate
I'm working with a fast-growing private investment firm to hire an Asset Manager into its London team.
The business invests across UK real assets, with a current focus on logistics and industrial, and is building a growing portfolio alongside institutional investment partners.
Why it's worth a look:
- The leadership team has transacted on £2.5bn+ of real estate across multiple cycles, building platforms that have ultimately attracted institutional and blue-chip ownership
- This is a newly created role – you'll have genuine scope to shape it rather than inherit someone else's seat
- You'll work closely with senior leadership and investment partners, with real visibility across the portfolio and investment decisions
- The business is well-capitalised and institutionally backed, but still early enough in its growth that individual performance can make a real difference
- Strong progression and reward potential, including the possibility of future carry

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
