Position Summary

PBS (Ponticelli) is currently recruiting for an Asset Manager who will be responsible for the strategic oversight and operational management of assets/sites, ensuring their optimal performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards. This role involves developing and executing asset management strategies, leading maintenance and improvement initiatives, and coordinating with various teams to drive asset value and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive asset management strategies to enhance asset performance, reliability, and lifecycle value.
  • Lead and manage maintenance programs to ensure assets are maintained according to best practices and regulatory requirements, minimizing downtime and extending asset life.
  • Monitor and analyse asset/site performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimise operations and address performance issues.
  • Manage the asset management budget, including cost control, financial reporting, and investment planning for asset improvements and upgrades.
  • Coordinate with engineering, operations, and safety teams to ensure asset integrity, compliance with safety regulations, and effective risk management.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and risk assessments to identify and resolve complex asset performance issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead the development and execution of asset investment plans, including prioritizing capital projects and securing necessary approvals.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to ensure the asset management approach remains innovative and aligned with industry standards.
  • Conduct regular offshore and site visits, participate in the Emergency Response Duty Rota and act as delegated authority for the Deputy GMOC Director, as required.

Profile Wanted

Qualifications And Work Experience

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in asset management within the energy sector or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading maintenance programs, managing budgets, and driving asset improvement initiatives.

  • Advanced professional certification or membership (e.g., Chartered Engineer, IMechE, IET)
  • BOSIET/FOET and associated mandatory certification
