About the Role

As our Asset Manager, you will play a lead role in helping to shape how, where and when we invest in, improve and future-proof our homes. Working across the business, you'll use a wide variety of property, asset, energy, customer and other insights to support decisions that deliver long term value for our customers and communities.

This is a strategic and hands on role, responsible for proactive property management that helps to develop and direct our future investment programmes, asset management priorities and stock optimisation plans across our housing portfolio. You'll use property, condition and energy data to support decision making, balancing compliance, sustainability, value for money and customer outcomes.

You'll work closely with colleagues across housing, property, development and regeneration services, building strong relationships and helping shape future investment, energy efficiency improvements and community sustainability initiatives.

Skills and Experience Needed

We're looking for someone with social housing asset management experience who enjoys working with others, solving problems and helping create better homes and communities.

You'll bring:

  • Experience developing and delivering asset management strategies and long-term investment programmes.
  • Strong knowledge of property performance, asset management and investment planning.
  • Experience using asset management systems and data to support decision-making and future planning.
  • Experience leading teams and working effectively with a wide range of colleagues and partners.
  • The ability to communicate clearly, solve problems and deliver sustainable improvements to homes and communities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
