Portfolio Asset Manager – Wind & Solar (UK)

We are hiring a Portfolio Asset Manager for a leading technical advisory & due diligence provider in the renewable energy industry.

Although this role is based in the UK, the portfolio of projects is in Poland and we are looking for fluent Polish & English language skills. Experience with PV assets is essential.

Role:

You will join the asset management team supporting the operation of solar PV and wind farms on behalf of institutional clients. You'll take ownership of the day-to-day operational control of a portfolio of assets, ensuring compliance, analysing performance data, resolving issues, and driving continuous improvement.

Beyond the technical remit, this role includes a strong client-facing and commercial dimension, you'll be the main point of contact for your clients and play a part in shaping quality systems and processes that improve performance across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients on assets under management
  • Prepare regular reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual)
  • Manage client requests under existing contracts and via Additional Services
  • Maintain strong client satisfaction and proactively propose upsell/improvement opportunities to maximise asset value and generation

Asset Operations

  • Manage assets on a day-to-day basis, including Operational Controller and on-call duties (including weekends)
  • Monitor daily turbine/solar status and site logbooks
  • Carry out performance analysis and initial fault investigation
  • Conduct site inspections (GWO training provided if needed)
  • Identify technical improvement solutions and propose additional works

Compliance & Oversight

  • Ensure HSE and statutory compliance; create and review H&S documentation
  • Monitor SPV stakeholders, OEMs, and service providers against contractual obligations
  • Support annual budget planning for managed assets
  • Monitor contract profitability (hours and costs)

Team & Other

  • Where applicable, support or manage other Asset Managers on the portfolio
  • Help guide resolution of corrective actions
  • Contribute to content showcasing company activities on social platforms (e.g. LinkedIn)
