What You’ll Do
- Asset management of a regional portfolio of freehold and leasehold residential properties, ensuring they meet safety, satisfaction, and sustainability standards.
- Monitor and enhance asset performance through financial, operational, health and safety, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Address strategic asset matters, including investment and divestment, with the support of the wider asset team.
- Provide expert advice on landlord and tenant issues, ensuring compliance with legal terms and covenants.
- Collaborate with Regional Directors and their operational teams to effectively implement the asset management strategy and regional asset plans.
- Prepare and present concise monthly management reports to support decision-making and risk management.

You have
- Proven experience in property asset management across various residential tenures and property types.
- Strong understanding of property litigation, including interpreting and enforcing covenants and lease terms.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trust and confidence with customers and stakeholders.
- Membership of The Property Institute (MTPI) and/or Associate RICS, or equivalent qualifications are desirable.
- Proactive problem-solving skills, with a focus on finding solutions and improving processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team, fostering great relationships to achieve common goals.
The practical bits
- Temporary (12 months), full time (37.5 hpw) Monday to Friday. You’ll manage your own diary.
- Flexible hybrid working, based at our Newcastle office, from home and across our property portfolio.
