Role Overview

Take ownership of renewable energy assets and help maximise their performance, value and contribution to a cleaner energy future. As an Asset Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our growing portfolio delivers against business plans while helping shape long-term success across a range of renewable technologies.

At EDF power solutions, we’re powering an Electric UK and Ireland. Your work will help us turn that ambition into action – delivering renewable energy solutions that will power homes, businesses and communities for generations to come.

You’ll work across operational, commercial and financial activities, partnering with internal teams and external stakeholders to optimise performance, manage risk and support the continued growth of a renewable portfolio targeting 10GW in operation by 2035.

The Opportunity

As an Asset Manager, you'll be responsible for managing renewable generation assets to help ensure performance meets or exceeds expectations. Working closely with operations and maintenance providers, you’ll identify opportunities to improve performance, enhance returns and support the long-term success of a diverse portfolio of renewable technologies.

Alongside a competitive salary and potential for an annual bonus, this role offers flexibility across our UK office network. Your contractual location will be Sunderland, Edinburgh or London, with hybrid working arrangements available. Travel to offices across the UK, Ireland and overseas will be required as business needs demand.

You'll have the opportunity to influence commercial, operational and financial decision-making across operational assets. From managing budgets and forecasts to supporting operational readiness and continuous improvement, your work will have a direct impact on portfolio performance and our growth ambitions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
