Asset Manager

We are currently partnering with an organisation based in Greater Manchester who are recruiting for an Asset Manager to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

Our client is a community-focused housing association committed to providing high-quality, affordable homes and delivering excellent housing services that support thriving and sustainable communities across the areas it serves.

This is a full-time position with a salary band of £51,000 - £60,000 (subject to experience) and the start date is subject to notice.

Duties

  • Leading asset management strategy across the portfolio
  • Managing cyclical maintenance programmes and major works
  • Overseeing statutory compliance and building safety requirements
  • Driving HHSRS compliance and property condition improvements
  • Budget management and contractor performance monitoring
  • Working closely with residents and stakeholders to improve asset performance and customer satisfaction
  • Supporting the long-term investment planning of the housing stock

Experience Required

  • Proven experience in asset management within social housing, local authority, or residential property environments
  • Strong knowledge of planned maintenance programmes, stock investment planning, and lifecycle asset management
  • Experience overseeing statutory compliance, building safety, and HHSRS requirements across a housing portfolio
  • Demonstrable ability to manage budgets, contractors, and stakeholder relationships while delivering excellent resident outcomes

Working Hours

  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
