We’re looking for a talented Asset Risk Data Analyst to join the team at Ayvens in Bristol. In this role, you’ll help shape how we manage and optimise the performance of our vehicle portfolio by setting and reviewing residual values and SMR (Service, Maintenance and Repair) budgets, analysing registration, fleet and external benchmarking data, defining policies aligned with Ayvens’ risk appetite, and monitoring our competitive position in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Autofutura RV and SMR databases, ensuring accurate depreciation curves that reflect current RV methodology and risk appetite.
  • Conduct and analyse bi-annual Fleet Revaluation campaign, highlighting key areas of risk and recommending improvements to our forecasting.
  • Manage, develop, and maintain database tools, striving for automation to increase accuracy, flexibility and scope of reporting.
  • Provide detailed analysis to support recommendations to shape Ayvens RV and SMR policies.
  • Lead Asset Risk communication and response to both internal and external auditors, providing evidence and explaining Asset Risk’s modelling, methodologies and practices.
  • Support Asset Risk Analysts in setting new RVs and SMRs, considering current policies and risk appetite.
  • Working with other areas of the business to build common reporting datasets.
  • Periodic analysis of industry data, Ayvens residual values and maintenance budgets for new and used vehicles, disposal performance and current fleet, highlighting areas of risk and recommending policy changes.
  • Use advanced data manipulation skills to develop new processes and routines to interrogate the Pricing databases to build a suite of regular reporting to provide key information for decision making.
  • Support the delivery of business projects with ad-hoc reporting as requested.
  • Ad-hoc testing for any new Pricing Software or updates and provide training as required.

Skills & Experience

  • Good standard in IT literacy including PowerPoint and Word
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Coding experience in VBA, SQL and/or SAS
  • Good communication skills i.e. face to face, telephone, presenting, e-mail, report writing.
  • Time Management
  • Data manipulation and presentation
  • Effective problem solving, search for alternative solutions leading to process improvements.
  • Industry experience is advantageous.

This role would initially be a 12 month fixed term contract.
