£48,500 plus £2000 car allowance

bpha are looking for an analytical and commercially minded Asset Strategy Manager to support the delivery of our Asset Management Strategy. You will play a key role in assessing property performance, undertaking options appraisals, and making recommendations that optimise asset value, operational efficiency and customer outcomes. You will also support acquisitions, disposals, lease management and strategic decision-making across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse portfolio performance and provide data-driven recommendations to support asset strategy.
  • Undertake options appraisals to inform investment, redevelopment, retention and disposal decisions.
  • Lead on small to medium-scale asset decisions in line with delegated authority levels.
  • Support property and land acquisition and disposal activities, including business case preparation.
  • Manage commercial leases and partnerships, maximising value while mitigating risk.
  • Collaborate with teams across Housing, Investment, Regeneration, Sustainability, Sales and Finance to ensure informed asset decisions.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders including agents, valuers, developers and tenants.
  • Maintain and develop asset performance data and reporting to support strategic decision-making.

Person Specification

  • Experience within asset management, property strategy, social housing or a related property environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in financial appraisals, portfolio analysis and asset performance assessment.
  • Understanding of NPV, yield analysis and data-led decision-making.
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships and influencing decision-making.
  • Knowledge of commercial leases and property-related contracts.
  • Understanding of the housing association regulatory environment.
  • Degree qualified or equivalent professional experience.
  • ICS qualification or working towards professional accreditation.
