Assistant Account Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Account Manager to join a successful fashion supplier, supporting the day-to-day management of a key menswear account. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong menswear experience who is organised, commercially aware and confident communicating with buyers and overseas factories.
Main Responsibilities
- Supporting the Account Manager with the day-to-day running of the account
- Managing and monitoring the critical path to ensure key deadlines are achieved
- Liaising with buyers on a daily basis and responding to queries and requests
- Working closely with factories in Bangladesh and Turkey to ensure product development and production remain on track
- Supporting general account operations and ensuring all actions are progressed to deadline
- Attending customer meetings alongside the Account Manager
- Following up after meetings and actioning agreed points across internal teams and suppliers
- Working closely with wider design, production and merchandising teams to support the smooth running of the account

- Previous menswear experience is essential, ideally gained within a retailer at Assistant Buyer level or within a fashion supplier
- Strong jersey experience would be highly relevant, with additional exposure to outerwear, knitwear or denim advantageous
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Commercially aware and confident communicating with buyers, suppliers and internal teams
- Proactive, reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced account management environment
