Assistant Accountant - Outskirts of Cleckheaton

Growing finance team | Full study support | Hybrid

A great opportunity to join a growing finance team within a successful international business. This is a broad role with plenty of variety, ideal for someone who has gained some finance experience and is now looking for their next step, with the opportunity to start or continue their ACCA or CIMA studies.

What’s on offer:

  • £28,000 – £32,000 plus study support and ongoing development
  • Hybrid working with 2 days in the office and 3 WFH

  • Supporting month-end accounts
  • Preparing journals, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Reviewing overhead expenditure and investigating variances
  • Looking after cost centres and supporting budget holders
  • Supporting daily banking and payment activities
  • Assisting with budget and forecast reporting
  • Reviewing employee expenses and resolving queries
  • Supporting audit requirements
  • Helping improve finance processes and systems
  • Supporting ongoing finance and business projects
  • Liaising with stakeholders across different functions and international locations

About you: You might currently be an Accounts Assistant, Assistant Accountant, or similar, with some solid finance experience under your belt.
